A few of the most popular healthy coffee drinks are the low-calorie chai tea latte and the very healthy vanilla latte. We want to give you our list of the tastiest healthy latte beverages and how to make them from the comfort of your own home.

Indian Chai Tea Latte

The warm beverage has Indian origins but has gained a lot of popularity among coffee and tea drinkers worldwide.

It’s made using black tea leaves with a mixture of flavourful herbs and blended aromatic spices. It’s incredibly simple to make and low in calories, carbs, and fat, so you don’t have to feel guilty after enjoying this warm beverage.

What You Need

To make this zesty drink, you need a cup of water, 2-3 pieces of lemongrass to give it some zing, 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves, 2 cups of low-fat or almond milk, and half a teaspoon of chai masala spice blend.

If you want to add a little sweetness, feel free to add 1-2 teaspoons of sugar. However, if you want to keep it low-calory, steer away from using any added sweeteners. You can always add an artificial sweetener like stevia or aspartame if you’re desperate for a sugary taste without the extra calories.

How to Make:

The first step is to add 2 pieces of lemongrass to a cup of boiling water. While the water is hot, add your choice of milk to the cup.

Next, add the black tea leaves to the boiled broth, along with your desired amount of sugar and chai masala spice blend. If you don’t have a chai masala spice blend, you can get away with using a chai tea bag, which still gives the drink its characteristic spiciness.

Once all the ingredients are mixed, bring the container to a boil again. Finally, drain the mixture strainer into your cup.

After that, it’s time to enjoy a healthy variation of one of the world’s favorite drinks.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

The pumpkin spice latte is incredibly popular among coffee drinkers all over the world. It’s well known for its warm autumn flavors and strong kick of pumpkin spice. You also have the option of turning this drink into a healthy cold brew coffee.

This delicious drink is easy to make and only requires a few ingredients.

The most important ingredient you for drink is 2 teaspoons of pumpkin butter. This makes up the base of the drink and gives it its familiar flavor

To make sure that pumpkin spice and savory taste comes through, you need 1/8 teaspoon of pumpkin spice.

You also need 3/4 cup of strong coffee, preferably espresso. If you want to add more pumpkin flavor, try out a bag of Lifeboost Coffee pumpkin spice coffee beans. We also have a decaf version for those who prefer their coffee without the caffeinated kick.

The last ingredient is 1/2 cup of milk. We recommend a low-fat milk option or a dairy alternative, such as almond milk, to further reduce the calories of this drink.

How to Make:

This drink is probably one of the easiest beverages on our list to make. The great news is that an espresso machine isn’t a requirement, so you can do it even if you don’t have all the fancy equipment.

Pour your coffee, pumpkin butter, and pumpkin spice into a mug. Make sure to mix them thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Set the mixture aside for later.

In a saucepan, heat the milk. We don’t want the milk to burn, so take it off the heat right before it starts to boil. Continuously stir the pot to prevent it from burning or sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.

Add your warmed milk into the mug mixture and stir it. Now enjoy your warm cup of pumpkin spice latte.

Mocha Maca Matcha

This tongue-twister of a drink is filled with nutrients and comes with a ton of health benefits, not to mention that it tastes really good.

It’s a simple drink to make and it only requires 4 ingredients, making it a breeze to whip together at the last second.

What You Need

To make a mocha maca matcha you need a teaspoon of maca powder, a teaspoon of matcha powder, a teaspoon of cacao powder, and of course, a cup of your milk of choice.

How to Make:

Throw the three powders into a mug and add a little bit of water so you can mix them properly. Whisk the mixture with a fork to make sure everything’s evenly dispersed.

Heat your milk in a saucepan and stir lightly to prevent it from burning. Pour the milk into your mug mixture and stir. 

There you have it, you just made a mocha maca matcha.
