So, without further ado, below you’ll find a variety of suggestions for building the perfect pumpkin spice coffee bar.
Feel free to add all the things or keep it simple, choose items you know you’ll love or add in a few things you’ve been wanting to try, just be sure to have fun as you go along!
Fall Flavors
1- Pumpkin Spice Coffee

What would a pumpkin spice coffee bar be without Lifeboost Pumpkin Spice Coffee.
This one has been a Lifebooster favorite for some time now, both the regular brew and our Decaf Pumpkin Spice Coffee, so go ahead and stock up, then build your coffee bar on this foundational (and tasty) treat.
Of course, having a few of our other fall favorites on hand wouldn’t be a bad idea either, such as our Toasted Southern Pecan Coffee, Smores Coffee, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Coffee, or any of our fan favorite classic roasts as well - Light, Medium, Dark, and Espresso.
And, if you’re wanting to display your beans, grounds, or pods within your coffee bar, I love doing this by adding the beans to a dark, vacuum sealed canister for optimal freshness.
Though, a large glass jar with a wooden, black, or decorative lid to store any coffee pods adds a nice touch as well.
2- Sweeteners
Sometimes folks like to sweeten their pumpkin themed brews with fancy syrups, and we’ll get to those in a moment, but classic sweeteners have their place as well.
Table sugar, organic cane sugar, brown sugar, stevia, monk fruit, and even raw honey all keep well at room temperature, so feel free to store your preferred sweetener(s) in a jar or small canister(s) conveniently placed within your setup.
3- Flavored Syrups

In a few moments, we’ll cover options for homemade syrups, but for now, if you’re looking for simplicity, including those syrup options you can easily display at room temperature in your coffee bar, here’s a few store-bought flavored coffee syrup suggestions that pair perfectly with pumpkin spice coffee and other fall themed java creations:
- Vanilla
- Pumpkin Spice
- Cinnamon Dolce
- Maple
- Hazelnut
- Caramel
- Salted Caramel
- Brown Sugar & Cinnamon
- Chai (pumpkin spice dirty chai, anyone?)
Feel free to display any of these syrups as-is, or if you really want to fancy things up, you can transfer your favorite syrup(s) to glass dispensers with customized labels for a clean and classic look.
4- For Boozy Brews
While you may not be reaching for liqueurs or spirits to enhance your 7 am cup of joe, if you enjoy an evening coffee cocktail now and then, adding a few small bottles of fall flavored liqueurs and spirits could add a unique touch to your coffee bar.
Consider items such as Kahlua (or a traditional coffee liqueur), Bailey’s Pumpkin Spice Irish Cream, vanilla vodka, caramel vodka, or a white chocolate liqueur to take your pumpkin spice coffee cocktail (or other fall-themed brew) to the next level.
Keeping It Cold

There are, of course, some items that can’t be safely displayed on/in your room temperature coffee bar.
But, this doesn’t mean you can’t fancify your chilled autumn coffee additions too!
Obviously you can store these items anywhere in your fridge, but here’s an idea just for fun - what if you cleared out a small section, perhaps part of a shelf or one side of the door compartments, then used this space to store a variety of homemade syrups, store bought and/or homemade creamers, whipped creams, sauces, and more for use in your coffee bar?
Keeping these items in a single section can serve to add to the pumpkin spice vibes you’ve got going on while keeping them chilled, preserved, and ready to use.
Now for a few suggestions on the specifics…
1- Creamers

Half & half, milk (dairy or plant based options), and heavy cream make great, neutral creamers to provide added texture and flavor to your pumpkin spice coffee, but if you’re looking for other additions to really pull out those fall tastes in your pumpkin spiced brew, consider the following flavored creamers (1):
- Vanilla
- Pumpkin spice
- Maple brown sugar
- Sweet cream or Italian creme
- Cinnamon swirl
- Salted caramel
Of course, if you’d like to make your own creamer, here’s a great base to start with (2), then check out the included, easy flavor additions if/when you’re ready to swap tastes…
Homemade Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer
- ⅓ cup cane sugar
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 ½ cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract (optional)
In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring water and sugar to a light boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
Stir, making sure all the sugar is dissolved, then remove from heat.
Let the syrup cool for 5 minutes, then add vanilla and almond extracts, stirring to combine.
Pour mixture into a 16 ounce glass jar, then add half and half and salt, stirring well to combine.
Seal and store in the refrigerator for 7-10 days.
For flavored creamer options, use the above base, but when it’s time to add the half & half, incorporate these (see below) ingredients as well, stirring to combine, and storing as listed above.
Pumpkin Spice Creamer - 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup, ½-1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Maple Creamer - 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or ½ teaspoon maple extract
Cinnamon Roll Creamer - **for this one, you’ll incorporate an extra swap, here substituting brown sugar for the cane sugar in the creamer base recipe, then add ¼-½ teaspoon of cinnamon when ready to add half & half
2- Homemade Syrups

While the store bought syrups are certainly convenient, it’s actually incredibly simple (and so very tasty) to make your own flavored syrups to enjoy in your pumpkin spice and other fall flavored coffees.
Almost any of the store bought syrups listed in the section above can be made at home with minimal ingredients, it’s just that the homemade versions need to be stored in the refrigerator.
Here, we’ll list the instructions for a homemade pumpkin spice coffee syrup (3) and a cinnamon brown sugar syrup (4), but feel free to also use these as inspiration for creating other tasty pumpkin coffee pairing sweeteners.
Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup cane sugar
- 1 cup filtered water
- ¼ cup pumpkin puree
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together water and sugars until the sugars have dissolved, but do not let this mixture boil.
Stir in pumpkin puree and vanilla until combined, then continue stirring as you add in the spices.
Cook for roughly ten minutes, making sure not to let the mixture boil.
Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to rest for 15 minutes.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer, transfer to a glass jar, and allow the syrup to cool completely before sealing and storing in the refrigerator (keeps up to two weeks).
Cinnamon Brown Sugar Syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Combine brown sugar, water, and cinnamon in a small pot over medium-high heat.
Whisk ingredients together, cooking until the sugar is dissolved. (Do not allow the mixture to boil.)
Remove from heat, allow the mixture to cool, then transfer to an airtight container, and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
*For vanilla syrup, follow the cooking instructions in either recipe listed above with 1 cup cane sugar, 1 cup filtered water, and 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract.
*For toasted pecan syrup, follow the cooking instructions in either recipe listed above, with 1 cup cane sugar or brown sugar, 1 cup filtered water, and 1 cup toasted, chopped pecans. (You’ll need to strain the pecans prior to storing the syrup.)
Oh, and before we move on, if you’re looking for a naturally fall-flavored syrup that you can store in your refrigerator, one that you don’t have to prepare on your own, real maple syrup makes a fantastic addition to your autumn cup!
3- Cold Brew

Sure, your coffee maker, French press, or pour over can rest happily at the center of your coffee bar, but what if you’re a tried and true cold brew fan?
Since this one needs to be stored in the fridge as well, feel free to keep it with your creamers and homemade syrups, even stored in a classy glass carafe if you’d like to amplify the refrigerated section of your pumpkin spice coffee bar.
4- Fall Ice Cube Trays
While you wouldn’t be able to store this in your fridge or display them within your coffee bar set up, if you’re a fan of iced coffee and cold brew, a fall themed ice cube tray (I’m thinking maple leaf shapes or pumpkin shapes) would be just the thing to set off a pumpkin spice cold brew!
You can even freeze coffee in them to make coffee ice cubes - a great way to keep your favorite chilled Lifeboost Pumpkin Spice Coffee full of flavor, sip after sip!
Toppings And Other Tastes

Sometimes the most fun parts of a coffee bar are the extras - the toppings you don’t normally use, the fun, fall-themed sprinkles, the whipped cream, the equipment and a few extra minutes to make seasonal foams.
We’ll keep things simple here, no recipes for now, but hopefully you’ll be inspired by the following suggestions.
1- Simple And Spiced
A sprinkle of cinnamon, a dusting of nutmeg, a shake of pumpkin spice? These can all add flavor and fall flare to your autumn cup, but don’t forget other additions such as pumpkin puree and/or apple butter as well.
While the latter needs to be stored in the refrigerator, most spices can be kept in shakers on your coffee bar - such simple additions, yet they bring all the fall feels!
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Clove
- Ginger
- Cardamom
- Pumpkin pie spice
- All spice
- Apple pie spice
2- Store Bought Toppings & Garnishes
Canned and flavored whipped creams (even homemade options) are refrigerated items that can’t be stored on your coffee bar, but they do make great, fanciful additions to your fall cup.
A dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon…yep, that’s what we’re talking about!
Oh, and if you’re seeking all the pretty, yet edible, things, you can even opt for fall themed sprinkles to boost your fun, fall sipping experience.
Then, as far as natural garnishes - cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and star anise also make great fall-themed coffee toppers.
3- Frothed Tops
Frothed milk, hot or cold, just might be my favorite way to top any coffee or tea…year round.
So, you better believe I’m including a milk frother in my pumpkin spice coffee bar!
Personally, I like to include both an electric frother and a handheld frother for making milk foams.
The handheld frother is great if you’re running short on time, and the electric frother…well, those things are next level, if you ask me.
4- Baked Goods
If you’ve got room for it, and if you regularly enjoy a treat with your pumpkin spiced brew, a cake dome in your coffee bar isn’t just cute, it speaks a language of pure autumnal yum!
Why?
Because you can fill this vessel with pumpkin muffins, cookies, scones, coffee cake, pumpkin bread…the possibilities are deliciously endless, and these pair so well with a cup of coffee on a crisp fall day.
Finishing Touches

Nothing edible or sippable here, but we’d like to close out with a few suggestions for some finishing touches on this pumpkin spice coffee bar, cozy and/or functional items, those which can elevate your set up or add to your comforting fall aesthetic.
1- Mugs, Spoons, And More
I’m a big fan of seasonal mugs. In fact, I’ve got an entire cabinet filled with mugs that I rotate out depending on the season.
It’s the little things, right?
And, if a fall themed mug brings you joy, well, you know what Marie Kondo says about such joyful items…
Okay, I actually have no idea what Marie Kondo says about these items, but I’m a Gilmore fan and according to Emily, if it brings you joy, it stays…so, I’m keeping my mugs.
You could even add a mug tree to your coffee bar to display multiple choices at once, and if you’d like, throw in a mug or small container to house an assortment of stirring spoons as well to complete the look.
Want to elevate this look even further? Consider adding a wooden stand or tier to hold or arrange any extra mugs, spices, accessories, etc.
2- Soft Lighting
This is certainly not a necessity by any means, but I recently added a small lamp to my coffee bar, and I’m absolutely loving it!
A small lamp with soft, warm lighting or a well-placed candle can truly add to your java enjoyment in the early (oftentimes dark) morning hours.
This addition of warmth can serve to amplify all the cozy fall vibes, and personally, I just think my coffee tastes better when I’m preparing a cup or sipping by candle light.
3- Pumpkins, Plants, And Other Decor
Lastly, here’s a few more non-necessities for your coffee bar that add nothing to the flavors you enjoy, yet still seem to enhance your enjoyment of the season.
Small pumpkins, a few succulents or small potted plants, perhaps a bud vase with some freshly picked goldenrod or a single faux stem, a small, well-placed coffee-themed sign, even a cute little ceramic ghost or gourd can each add a pop of color and personality to “the best autumn-inspired coffee bar.”
