Key Takeaways

  • Fueling Focus, Energy, And More With The Lifeboost Longevity Latte - an expanded look at the Lifeboost Longevity Latte Bundle, breaking down the components of Lifeboost Cognition Coffee and Mito Creamer including lion’s mane and chaga mushrooms, C8 MCT oil, grass-fed bovine collagen, and more
  • The Longevity Latte Conclusion - a simplified look at the components of Lifeboost Cognition Coffee and Mito Creamer

How many times do you wake up and find yourself in need of some kind of fuel to start your day?

It’s not necessarily that your gas tank is hovering just above empty after a night of restful sleep, but perhaps you might feel like that long-awaited morning cup of coffee simply can’t be brewed fast enough.

Maybe it’s a placebo effect, you don’t necessarily need your cup’s caffeine content to begin your day, but the taste alone signals a satisfaction so great that you immediately feel empowered to tackle the day’s tasks after the first few sips.

Then, the tasks begin…and no matter whether you’re sorting laundry and packing lunches to get the kids off to school, leading a meeting at work, or researching the next scientific breakthrough or market surge, you find yourself struggling to stay focused, on task, and/or able to muster up enough energy to fully meet the demands of the day with ease.

If the above description even remotely sounds familiar, it may mean that your morning coffee routine could use an upgrade, something with a bit more functionality.

And, this is exactly what prompted us to carefully craft the Lifeboost Longevity Bundle!

This bundle brings together two of our most purposeful products - Mito Creamer and Cognition Mushroom Coffee - each of which combine to create a simple daily ritual centered around balance, clarity, and everyday wellness - supporting a clear, focused mind and healthy energy levels to fuel your day.

So, we’d like to take a few moments now to explore this bundle, looking at exactly what makes Cognition Coffee different from an ordinary Lifeboost brew as well as how Mito Creamer adds to this cup with complementary support for your mind and body.

Fueling Focus, Energy, And More With The Lifeboost Longevity Latte

Functional foods (or drinks) are those items which provide fuel for your body that is capable of going above and beyond, basically those things which support your body in noticeable ways.

Most often this “noticing” happens first through scientific research, then these products are passed on to consumers who can enjoy needed bodily support as well.

So today, we’d like to closely examine the functionality of a few Lifeboost favorites - Lifeboost Cognition Coffee and Mito Creamer, both of which combine to form our Longevity Latte Bundle - by taking a look at what science has to say regarding the ingredients which make up this powerful pair.

First up, our Cognition Mushroom Coffee

Lifeboost Cognition Coffee isn’t just an ordinary coffee.
It begins with the smooth taste of our premium, single-origin, shade-grown, low acid, medium roast coffee which is then infused with Lion's Mane and Chaga mushroom extracts.

Unlike ordinary mushroom extracts, these are eight times more potent than what you’ll find elsewhere, making Lifeboost Cognition Coffee the only low-acid mushroom coffee on the market with unparalleled strength.

Now for the functionality fun part…

How can sipping a brew infused with Lion’s Mane and Chaga support your mind and body?

To get the best understanding of this, let’s examine these components separately.

1- Lion’s Mane

Lion’s mane mushrooms beside a cup of coffee, with glowing brain and neuron imagery symbolizing potential cognitive and brain health benefits.

A lot of the initial information available regarding the effects of lion’s mane on brain health and mental health (primarily mood) were incredibly positive, but most of the human research on this matter centered around chronic supplementation in those who had experienced or were currently experiencing compromised brain health (1).

As you might imagine, this led researchers to wonder how the same mushroom extracts might impact healthy, even young, adults (1).

So, a study was conducted on 41 healthy adults, aged 18-45, looking at both the immediate effects (60 minutes post consumption) as well as the chronic effects (28 days post consumption) of lion’s mane supplementation, and here’s what researchers discovered:

  • Following only a single dose, at 60 minutes post dose, participants performed quicker on the Stroop task, a test which incorporates ink color and words to measure attention, mental focus, etc. (1, 2).
  • And, after 28 days of supplementation, researchers observed “a trend towards reduced subjective stress” (1).

Another study, conducted over the course of 12 weeks, “found that lion’s mane significantly improved memory and mental function in people over 50” (3, 4).

Yet another study in humans found that older adults with mild memory problems who took lion’s mane daily showed improvements in cognitive functioning in as little as 8 weeks, with those improvements continuing even at 16 weeks (4, 5).

If you’re wondering how a mushroom could support your brain in such powerful ways, here’s a little insight into what researchers have found regarding lion’s mane:

  • “Lion’s Mane mushrooms contain two special compounds that can stimulate the growth of brain cells: hericenones and erinacines” (6).

These can bring aid to your brain as they have the ability to stimulate nerve growth factor (NGF), something experts have highlighted due to its potential in preventing and managing neurodegenerative diseases (7).

  • Stimulating NGF production also helps to repair neurons in your brain, potentially improving both memory and focus (6).

2- Chaga

Chaga mushrooms beside a cup of coffee and powdered chaga, with glowing brain imagery and neural connections symbolizing potential cognitive health benefits.

Chaga also has the ability to aid your brain, but in much different ways than lion’s mane.

Like lion’s mane, studies have shown chaga mushrooms to bring aid regarding memory, mood, and mental energy, but here, this support is believed to come through protection (8).

Studies show chaga mushrooms help to reduce oxidative stress in the brain while also supporting acetylcholine, something your brain needs for memory (8).

“Chaga may [also] protect brain cells and slow brain aging” (8, 9).

Some have even cleverly described chaga mushrooms as those which serve as “brain insurance,” or that which supports your brain long term, offering antioxidant-fueled protection to keep your brain healthy for the long haul (8).

But, another way chaga provides this type of long term support is by reducing inflammation in the brain and body while also providing your immune system with the white blood cells needed for defending against bacterial and viral infections (10, 26).

Both inflammation and oxidative stress are major contributors to cognitive decline, so chaga’s aid here “may help preserve cognitive function and support overall brain health” (10).

But, the Lifeboost Longevity Latte Bundle doesn’t just include our Cognition Coffee.
In this bundle you’ll also receive our Mito Creamer, and we certainly didn’t include this option for the smooth, creamy boost it gives your brew alone.

Yep, this one’s loaded with potential support as well!

So now, let’s dedicate a few moments to exploring Mito Creamer

Lifeboost Mito Creamer is a functional coffee creamer made with purposeful ingredients designed to complement your daily routine.

It is made with C8 MCT oil, grass-fed bovine collagen, electrolytes, and a supportive wellness blend, these combining to support your body’s overall wellness at the cellular level.

Mito Creamer is a powdered creamer, and while it’s designed to blend smoothly with any roast, using it in conjunction with our Cognition Mushroom Coffee allows you to combine the support from each of these items to fuel your day.

I suppose you could say, where Cognition Coffee steps up to offer potential aid to your brain in the form of improved focus, attention, and memory, Mito Creamer enters the coffee conversation to address energy, here providing support for your cells.

Let’s see how…

1- C8Vantage (C8 MCT oil)

Woman exercising with a shaker bottle beside C8 MCT oil powder, coconut halves, a glowing brain, and a runner, symbolizing energy, fitness, and cognitive support.

C8Vantage is a medium-chain triglyceride powder with all the good stuff and none of the bad (12).

That’s right, no GMOs, no maltodextrin, and no corn-based ingredients (12).

But, let’s see how it can work for you/your body.

  • C8 MCT oil has been shown to rapidly convert to ketones thereby providing your cells with a near immediate source of fuel to aid both your brain and muscles (13).
  • “A 2025 clinical trial found that daily MCT oil use improved working memory in healthy young adults” (13, 14).
  • Some believe a ketogenic diet is the best way to experience the brain and energy boosting benefits of ketones for the enhancement of both metabolic and cellular processes as these serve as an alternative fuel source providing sustained energy, particularly sustained mental energy (15). But, research has shown that these same brain and energy effects are available through C8 MCT oil intake as well since nearly all ketones are made from C8, or an 8-carbon-chain fat (13, 16). In other words, when you’re wanting the best energy and brain support from MCTs, C8 is the optimal way to fuel your body.
  • Since MCTs go straight to your liver, and because your body doesn’t store them the same way it stores long-chain triglycerides, your body opts to use these first for fuel. And, researchers believe this is the reason most people report “feeling a clean energy lift” from MCT oil, specifically C8 MCT oil (13, 16).
  • As a potential added bonus, several studies also suggest that C8 MCT oil may improve metabolism (27).

2- Grass-Fed Bovine Collagen Peptides

Grass-fed collagen is an excellent protein source, and this type of collagen helps to maintain the structure and function of brain membranes thanks to its strong amino acid profile (17).

Even better, it also supports the health of your cells and your nervous system (17).

Back to its amino acid profile, this type of collagen supports overall wellness by helping your body control inflammation and combat free radical damage which can be accomplished through the ability of amino acids to suppress inflammatory chemicals (18, 19).

Then, studies also show that grass-fed collagen may support a healthy gut (20).
And, as your brain and gut are closely linked in what we commonly refer to as the gut-brain axis, a healthy gut can provide crucial information to allow proper maintenance of your energy and blood sugar levels for needed balance (21).

3- Electrolytes (Electroprime)

Even mild dehydration can slow mental processing (22), making electrolytes a vitally important part of your morning routine.

And, as approximately 75% of your brain mass is made of water, proper hydration plays a critical role in cognitive health (23).

Water alone contains low levels of naturally occurring minerals, but supplementing your fluid intake with electrolytes can play a big role in keeping the fluid levels in your body balanced (24).

Especially when consumed in the morning, electrolytes support this healthy balance after normal nighttime fluid and mineral loss, which may also be helpful in restoring and maintaining energy levels (24).

4- Everyday Wellness Blend (Mitoprime)

The wellness blend we use in Mito Creamer - Mitoprime - is a patented, fermented form of L-Ergothioneine, and this rare amino acid is delivered as a pure L-isomer with superior potency, bioavailability, and stability which means your body can effectively use it to support the following (25):

  • Mitochondrial function (the energy powerhouse of your cells) (11)
  • Cognitive resilience
  • Overall cognitive health
  • Cellular defenses against oxidative stress
