Key Takeaways

As we reflect on 2025, Lifeboost Coffee is closing out the year with gratitude. Remaining committed to our core values as a company, we’ve seen many wins in relation to our Lifeboost family as well as our products, and here we’d like to detail our best moments.

  • Many Lifeboost team members have felt support in difficult circumstances, reinforcing the fact that our ‘team’ is truly family.
  • We’ve been able to support our Lifeboosters as well as communities near and far during difficult times this year.
  • Our Lifeboost family, communities, and customer base are the people that make Lifeboost Coffee possible, and their importance cannot be understated.
  • Refining our processes has led to improved third party testing results, proving our product quality continues to strengthen.
  • A continued commitment to and focus on Lifeboost core values has also allowed us to better communicate with our customers, and their feedback has led to invaluable improvements including quality, more consistent and smooth roast levels, a cleaner/more natural flavor, and an even gentler, lower-acid coffee.
  • In 2026 Lifeboost Coffee is on track to: proceed smoothly and quickly with retail distribution providing deals are finalized and provide Lifeboosters with new products focused on supporting long-term health (such as more functional coffees).

Gratitude

Crafting a delicious cup of coffee and taking the time to sit for a few moments and enjoy it is one of life’s simple yet profound pleasures, with many of us commonly finding ourselves reflecting as we sip.

Of course, as this year draws to a close, those sips often lead to deeper ponderings, and here at Lifeboost, such contemplation has shown our mugs to be truly full!

Sure, those vessels are absolutely full of smooth, bold, and decadently delicious coffee, but metaphorically speaking, they’re also running over, filled to the brim with gratitude for all we’ve experienced throughout 2025.

As we’ve upheld our core pillars - clean, kindness, cause, and connection - we’ve been privileged to see the following throughout this year:

  • Our coffee is cleaner than ever!
  • Our team has witnessed even more of the warm rewards reaped from creating what we would call family, not just a workplace environment!
  • We’ve also been blessed to support and connect with our community and customer base in greater, more impactful, ways.

So, with each of these things in mind, we’d love for you to join us as we recap 2025 with hearts full of gratitude looking at a variety of wins and warmth

wins regarding how we’ve been able to improve our coffee as well as our shipping practices.

…and, warmth witnessed in the support/care shown and experienced within our Lifeboost family, our customer base, and the communities we love.

The Lifeboost Family

We refer to our core pillars a lot in our communications with you.

Why?

Because at the heart of each of these pillars you’ll find people

Our drive to bring you clean, healthy coffee stems from how we value human and planetary health.

We value kindness because we value people, believing each person is deserving of true care and compassion as we navigate life’s joys and trials.

The causes near and dear to our hearts are rooted in care and/or compassion for others.

And of course, the importance we place on connection also stems from a desire to support, get to know, and truly connect with people - our Lifeboosters, our team members, and those ‘neighbors’ we come in contact with throughout our lives.

This past year, as we’ve sought to live out these principles, we’ve been continually reminded of how wonderful people are!

There would be no Lifeboost Coffee without our Lifeboost family/team, our communities, or you, our incredible Lifeboost customer, each of whom make this all possible.

And, as this year brought times where many found themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, much care/support was given and found within our Lifeboost family, rippling across communities affecting the lives of our team members, their families, neighbors, and beyond.

With this in mind, we’d like to share with you some insights and interactions from a few members of our Lifeboost Family.

When a Lifeboost family member was affected by the flooding that devastated areas throughout the Carolinas in 2024, the effects of which have stretched well into 2025, our team showed support to her and her family as they and those in surrounding communities experienced unimaginable loss

“Hurricane Helene and the flooding that swept through the Carolinas brought devastation unlike anything our area has seen. Our land took a major hit, with flooding and fallen trees altering everything overnight.

Our family lost all power, water, and internet/phone service for 8 days, making the basics of daily life feel uncertain. But, watching nearby communities face far worse - homes destroyed, roads cut off, families displaced - was heartbreaking, leaving a deep emotional imprint on all of us who call this region home.

Lifeboost’s support during this time meant so much to me and my family. Leadership checked in however they could, encouraged flexibility, and made sure my family came first as we dealt with cleanup, safety, and the anxieties of being cut off from communication.

Even small gestures of understanding helped to lighten the load. And, in a year filled with unexpected challenges, this experience reminded me that Lifeboost is more than a workplace - it’s a community that leads with compassion, shows up for its people, and proves that what we do together goes far beyond coffee.” (Sarah, Wholesale Manager )

When a single member of our Lifeboost family experienced loss and grief, our team offered genuine, heartfelt support…

“When a family member passed away suddenly this summer, I communicated the need to adjust writing schedules to accommodate for travel, etc. and Shannon, our Head of Content Innovation, wasn’t simply understanding, she went above and beyond to show kindness.

She and others in our Lifeboost family sent emails, text messages offering condolences, and one even sent flowers to show sympathy and support.

When you’re stopping to stretch your legs in the midst of a 12 hour car ride filled with grief, family struggles, and a burden of uncertainty, and you receive a message that simply says “I wanted to check in to see how you’re doing,” (including warm thoughts regarding your time of grief and well wishes for you and your children as you travel, emphasizing care and ensuring my emotional and physical health were a priority over any work-related schedules or items needed) that’s when you know you’re a part of something truly special!”  (Becky, Content Writer)

When a Lifeboost family member and surrounding communities were affected by the 4th of July flooding in Texas, our team not only compassionately supported her family but also donated coffee to the brave first responders as well as others within the Central Texas communities forever changed by this tragedy

“The 4th of July flooding that took place in the Texas hill country left an ever-growing ripple that I don’t even know how to put into words sometimes.

Personally, I have so many childhood memories of summer camp talent shows, canoeing on the river, and going to the lake with my dad, all of which have a shadow cast over them following the flooding.

And, while my family members living in this region are some of the lucky ones, I will never shake talking to my mother after she woke to the news of the campers and so many others being swept away in the floodwaters - “It so easily could have been you or your siblings…a different time and it could have been you.”

Though it could have been much worse, my family is forever changed emotionally as my parents woke to their yard being filled with search parties and FBI teams looking for survivors, a visual you hope to never have to experience.

Their friends lost so much of their lives in just a few days, from their belongings to their loved ones. No one in that community was unaffected.

Amidst this news, so many from Lifeboost reached out to check on my family and offer whatever support was needed. Many of us at Lifeboost have connections to that area and the company didn’t hesitate to ensure we knew we were supported and cared about. Lifeboost has always been involved in community support, and in this case with Lifeboost team members so close to the disaster, they immediately cancelled scheduled emails and decided instead to offer ways for Lifeboosters, along with the company itself, to donate coffee to the first responders and Central Texas communities.

I am beyond grateful to be a part of this Lifeboost family who cares about its team and recognizes that some things are just more important.” (Shannon, Head of Content Innovation)

Whether concerning our Lifeboost team family, our neighboring communities, those towns within our nation facing tragedy, or any one of you (our valuable Lifeboosters), there’s simply no way to ignore the importance of people

And, our interactions with people say a lot about where our focus lies.

This is why we step forward as a family at Lifeboost, seeking to show kindness and connect with others in what we do.

It’s easy for folks to forget this often-understated truth, but people are what this life is primarily all about.

Whether we realize it or not…

  • our health is partly reliant on our connections to people
  • we learn and grow in life through our interactions and relationships with people
  • we are fulfilled, enriched, and supported through our connections to people

Even when it comes to our favorite coffee, there’s no other way to put it, people make Lifeboost possible, plain and simple.

So, as we reflect, we’re filled with gratitude and a desire to express our heartfelt thanks to and for our Lifeboost family, communities, and amazing Lifeboosters.

But we also wanted to share a few wins we’ve experienced this year, wins that wouldn’t be possible without each of these folks - our team and you!

The Lifeboost Commitment

Throughout the year our values have always centered around you, our Lifeboosters. With each email, comment, or social media post you have sent us sharing how Lifeboost has been a part of your health journeys, we count it as a win.

Ensuring you can enjoy coffee for many years to come, while also reaping the benefits of added health-boosting qualities, such as our Cognition mushroom line or our stress-managing teas, is what makes what we do worth it. We take to heart your feedback and consider each of your health concerns when we set our internal Lifeboost goals.

So, as we remained committed to our values here at Lifeboost, we are grateful in 2025 we were able to bring you a coffee that was our most balanced and healthy coffee yet!

Knowing how toxins can negatively affect someone’s long-term health, in 2025, Lifeboost operations oversaw new third party testing across heavy metals, mycotoxins, PFAS, pesticides, and microbiological safety.

Go ahead and insert your inner drumroll here, because the results showed improvement from 2024, meaning your beloved Lifeboost cup has been getting cleaner, healthier, and more pure with each passing year!

And, while a cleaner coffee is certainly a tastier coffee, we couldn’t stop there.

Throughout this year, our operations teams also used real Lifebooster feedback to make meaningful, noticeable upgrades regarding the quality of our coffee. When you share, we listen.

Concerning roast levels…

Lifeboosters conveyed to us that some batches of our light and/or medium roast coffee appeared and tasted slightly too dark.

Using this helpful feedback, we tightened our roast profiles, added more quality control cuppings, and narrowed roast tolerances.

The result?

Now, every batch of Lifeboost Coffee tastes more consistent and smoother.

Concerning flavoring…

Some of our Lifeboosters who love sipping our flavored selections conveyed a desire for a “smoother,” less strong flavor.

With this in mind, we refined our natural flavor extracts and reduced any over-concentrated notes.

The result?

Our flavored selections now provide a more balanced, natural-tasting cup.

Concerning pH/acidity…

Though Lifeboost Coffee is a low acid brew, some customer feedback indicated that folks were occasionally detecting some acidity or experiencing stomach sensitivity.

To address this, we adjusted our roast development process, rechecked pH levels, and improved bean sorting.

The result?

Your low acid Lifeboost Coffee is now more gentle, with even lower-acidity.

But, coffee quality wasn’t the only concern we had in relation to what we want you to experience as a Lifebooster.

This is why our team works continually behind the scenes to make sure each and every bag of coffee ships smoothly, even during peak seasons.

And in 2025, just in time for the holiday season, our team completed a full audit of warehouse workflows, packaging, and carrier routing.

As a result, we reduced our average fulfillment time by 18%, even streamlining packing processes to better handle the increases in volume we typically see seasonally.

So now, Lifeboosters can expect to receive orders faster, with fewer delays as our warehouse accuracy has improved, reducing mis-shipments.

We’re also better prepared for holiday sales spikes as we’ve improved staffing, labeling, and amped up our quality control processes.

Each aspect of your Lifeboost experience is important to us, and as we’ve emphasized our focus and goal of bringing you clean, healthy, low acid, and truly delicious coffee, your feedback has been invaluable as we’ve refined our processes to successfully bring you a cleaner, tastier cup in an efficient, timely manner.

So then, what does this mean as we move into 2026?

Lifeboost Coffee In 2026

As we begin a new year, we carry with us a commitment to our mission of being more than just a coffee company.

So, as we close out our time of grateful reflection, here are a few things you can look forward to and expect from Lifeboost in 2026:

  • Throughout 2025 our team has been laying the groundwork to bring Rainforest Alliance certification to Lifeboost products in the coming year.

We’ve begun the auditing, documentation, and sourcing verification steps ahead of the formalities of this certification process, including working with our growers, gathering sustainability evidence, and other preparations over the course of several months.

And, while there are still a few steps to take on this path, as we’ve raised our sustainability and ethical sourcing standards, even completing the compliance review ahead of schedule, this indeed sets us up to begin the formal certification process in 2026.

  • Our Operations team has been working hard throughout 2025 to make it possible for Lifeboost to hit retail store shelves in 2026!

As we’re ahead of typical onboarding timelines, retail distributions should proceed smoothly and quickly once deals are finalized. How exciting!!

  • Of course, as supporting the long-term health of our Lifeboosters is one of our primary goals, you can also expect to see new products in the coming year…think improved functional coffees, and more!

As one of our Lifeboosters, you are a part of our Lifeboost family, and we hope you know we do not take our mission or focus lightly.

It is our desire that you always know and experience the warmth we’ve shared with you today, knowing that each of you are an important part of the wins we celebrate as well.

You are part of what fills our grateful hearts and mugs here at Lifeboost, and we look forward to serving you in health, kindness, and connection throughout the coming year!
